Context

The Don D’amour Foundation is home to forty children in difficulty where they can attend school safely. Today, children do not have access to drinking water and are regularly ill (diarrheal diseases, skin problems due to unsafe water).

It is in this context that the Don D’Amour Foundation and Agir Ensemble Association partner to raise funds to allow these children to have safe access to drinking water.

Targets of the project:

1. Contribute to the lasting improvement of the living conditions of the children and the neighboring inhabitants,
2. Train children and the population to health and hygiene needs,
3. Create 2 sustainable jobs,
4. Increase the number of people with access to drinking water by 1,000.

Contexte

La Fondation Don D’amour héberge une quarantaine d’enfants en difficulté où ils peuvent suivre une scolarité en toute sécurité. Aujourd’hui, les enfants n’ont pas accès à une eau potable et sont régulièrement malades (maladies diarrhéiques, problème de peau dû à une eau insalubre).

C’est dans ce cadre que la Fondation Don D’Amour et le fonds de dotation Safe Water Cube s’associent pour récolter des fonds pour permettre à ces enfants d’avoir un accès sécurisé à l’eau potable.

Les objectifs du projet:

1. Contribuer à améliorer durablement les conditions de vie des enfants et des habitants avoisinants,
2. Former les enfants et la population aux besoins sanitaires et d’hygiène,
3. Créer 2 emplois durables,
4. Augmenter de  1 000 personnes le nombre de personnes ayant accès à l’eau potable.
