Context

The people of Dangbo get their water from a well and all the inhabitants of Ganvié get their water from a few kilometers from the village. The children of the commune of Aguegue-Houedomel recovers water directly from the Ouémé river (a well is under construction).

Children are regularly affected by diseases such as cholera, typhoid fever and diarrheal diseases, which prevent them from pursuing a healthy schooling.

It is in this context that the NGO Aganer, a Beninese organization and the Safe Water Cube endowment fund, join forces to raise funds to enable children and their families to have access to drinking water.
